Oh come on, now.
I like this place just fine. Sorta. *evil grin*

Isn't it funny that I never have anything to talk about?
Nothing ever changes in my life. Well, nothing ever changes greatly enough
that I would need to notify anyone.

Willow's 3 now.

Dude. I really can't abide the double spacing. But I really enjoy the enter key. It's irritating.
And...oh my Peter, Paul and Mary.

If you press the *Shift* key and then Enter...it will single space.
Fabulous.

See what happens when you read the "Help" files?

Willow has been going to swim lessons. They're fun. Now I have to go and live.
Bye!

I was urged to come and post something.

So here I am. Posting.

Aren't you proud?

And why in the )&$@#*(& is this not single- mother(*&(*&)_(&#$(*&-spaced?!?!

*sigh*

Ooo baby baby it's a wild world...

*X-posted*

In my yard, there is a tree. In this tree, there is a nest. In this nest, there are 4 tiny blue robin eggs.

First off, Lubbock (especially my part of Lubbock) doesn't have a lot of trees.
Secondly, I was surprised as all get out to see a nest in this tiny little non-fruiting pear tree.

Imagine my amazement when I take the camera out, reach up there to take a picture inside the nest ...and when I review the picture a little later ...I see at least 3 eggs.

I just went out a bit ago while Mom and Dad Robin were away from the nest, to get a better shot inside.

4 eggs. *grins stupidly*

I have a picture of dad sitting on the nest. They stay so still. "You can't see me, because I'm not moving!"

This little boost to show me that Mother Nature is alive and well in Lubbock, Texas. I can understand how protective Mom and Dad are about their four little eggs. But they'll never comprehend how important they are to me. I've been researching American Robins and what they eat, what they like, things like that. I've got a shopping list. :)

I've taken Willow out to show her the nest and the Mom/Dad on the nest. I've shown her the pictures I've taken of the eggs. She cut her teeth on the Hornby Island Eagles, so she sort of grasps the basics of the bird part of "Birds and Bees".

*happy sigh*
